- Studge should have buried his chance - early goal and would have been "game over" possibly..?
- Then Daniel should have passed inside the box and went for a greedy chance..
- Matip has played 5 mins this season .. before this game he and VVD come from "land of the giants" how can Lfc concede from a corner ??? surely thats why Matip was selected???
- 23 shots - and 4 on target - 0 in first half...
- agreed that NK was surely the player to bring on at 60 mins..
IMO after the game in London I would have given FAB the role that Gini had and surely AWAY GAMES in Europe are where HE was signed for???

ReplyDeletejust feel the set up was wrong..for me the premiere is the priority, not even citeh could win both premiere and champions league in same season IMO, ..so i proposed a "fringe team" who strangely may have been more engaged than the lads who have played every game (Bobby has player 69 games since start of last season, ) i would have rested most of the "first team" because sticking Matip, who has played 5 mins of first team footy this season in at CB, means there is already a risk, and so it proved.. however there was some "bug" which prevented Clyne & Dejan travelling ..so my idea was anyway scuppered... the atmosphere should not affect Pros if they intend to win titles.. especially as the pitch is some distance from the crowd, although noisy.. for me the plain aspect is a) players playing a different system b) key players a bit jaded and c) a bit of complacency , and also d) the home side (as on saturday at the emirates; starting very strong, a lot of fans talk about the techniques and want pretty dribbles and such, and forget that 1. you dont win games if you cant win the ball and 2, to score goals you have to shoot! (0 shots on target in first half...!) anyway i would like Juergen to go back to the basic style of last season and hopefully play our best 11 on sunday.. because just maybe the mancs draw rheir derby and Lfc need to score a few goals and clean the slate...��
